We understand business and know how to design services geared toward helping your business grow. We have continually built our network infrastructure with the client in mind. Using only the best equipment and software available, we have built a hosting facility that provides reliable and affordable services. We are continually enhancing that infrstructure by incorporating new services and upgrading equipment and software to provide our clients with the best possible value.
Our Infrastructure
Our network is designed for maximum traffic throughput and reliability. We maintain 3 separate Internet backbone connections to 3 different providers. Each is configured for failover in the case that any one of our providers is down for any length of time. These multiple connection also ensure the fastest possible routing to your clients. Our connections implement BGP routing and a great deal of content filtering technology to ensure that legitimate traffic freely passes through our network while malicious traffic is detected and blocked. Our goal is simple - provide our clients with a clean, safe and fast network.
Our network data center is located in Downtown Pensacola, Florida. Located on the third floor of the Brent Building, this facility offers easy access to high-speed data lines, building-wide back up power generation and medium physical security. Network segments for each operator are partitioned from each other with a Cisco router and switches are used within each network segment to further restrict traffic to local segments.
This facility is about 6 blocks from the major backbone Point of Presence for this city, so bringing in additional broadband capacity is quick and easy. The network topology used within the facility allows for expansion of broadband services, as well. The current broadband connection is triple and doubly redundant, in that three separate feeds, from independent suppliers are used to guarantee connectivity will not be interrupted by network failures internal to the Tier 1 providers themselves. A Cisco router, configured with BGP, is used to steer traffic to the appropriate connection, thus providing a load balancing effect, in addition.
Physical security to the building is controlled by electronic keyfobs, which are required to operate the elevators or enter the premises after hours. The facility is located in a locked office space on the third floor.
