Server Colocation (Co-location), Rack Space (Rackspace) & Bandwidth Plans From Creative Data Concepts Limited, Inc.

We can colocate (co-locate) and monitor your servers and other network equipment. Services are billed based upon the total amount of bandwidth used monthly plus rack space rental fees and any additional network management fees. Contracts for services are negotiated based upon client need at the time service is requested. We do offer preconfigured colocation (co-location) plans but these typically serve as a starting point. We would rather work with each client on a case-by-case basis to develop a set of services that meet their needs and provide the capacity for expansion in a cost effective manner.

Your company can configure and provide the equipment you need or we can obtain the equipment as needed. We reserve the right to request that equipment meet certain minimum configuration requirements (for performance, maintenance and security reasons). We can provide you with details regarding these requirements. We can also make your equipment accessible to your staff 24 x 7 if you are located within driving distance of our data centers. Deposits for access passes will be required.

Bandwidth

In order to make colocation (co-location) affordable, our bandwidth is priced in affordable 1 Mbps increments. Each colocation client is provided with a dedicated circuit for their exclusive use. Each colocation circuit is connected to our multi-gigabit backbone by either a dedicated 100 Mbps or dedicated 1000 Mbps Ethernet port. A 1 Mbps connection equates to 320 GB per month data transfer if the connection is running at 100% for the entire month. We DO NOT throttle bandwidth for customers using this type of service so your network segment has access to our backbone connection at the full 100 Mbps or 1 Gbps speed depending upon your chosen configuration. All connections in our facility have the benefit of direct connectivity to our redundant 1000 Mbps Ethernet fiber backbone. BGP routing is employed to ensure the fastest possible packet delivery and failover protection. Only traffic that is passed to the Internet is counted when determining monthly bandwidth utilization. Traffic between colocated (co-located) servers on your company's dedicated network segment is unlimited. All bandwidth provided is subject to filtering by our multi-layer network security protocols.

Rack Pricing

Our facility supports standard rack mount equipment with spacing prices by the rack space, half rack and full rack. Click here for more information on rack space pricing. Rack charges per month are independent of bandwidth used. For example, your company can colocate (co-locate) a single rack unit ($30 per month rack space fee) with a 512 Kbps bandwidth commitment ($95 per month) plus a $50 monthly management fee for the entire network segment. The monthly total for the service described in this scenario would be $175.00. If the bandwidth exceeded 160 Gb, monthly cost would automatically by adjusted to cover the added bandwidth utilization.

Management Fees

In order to insure the highest level of quality and consistency for all our data center users, we require that all colocated (co-located) and dedicated clients maintain their equipment to specific security and configuration standards. We have found it best if we have our technicians maintain all equipment in our facilities on a routine basis. This helps us prevent major outages and reduces client downtime. We charge a minimum $50 monthly fee per colocated client to cover these services.

IP Addresses

Each colocated client is provided with a block of 30 routable IP addresses at no additional charge. Additional blocks of 30 IP addresses are available at a cost of $30 per month per block of 30 addresses.
